Sweet Grass Meats is a small family farm located just outside of Naples, NY, in the heart of the Finger Lakes. Sasha and Leith MacKenzie started grazing a flock of 200 Katahdin ewes 6 years ago. Since then under the mentorship of Ulf Kintzel from nearby White Clover Sheep Farm, they have been adding Ulf’s White Dorpers to the flock. The White Dorpers are a breed of hair sheep bred specifically to produce tender delicious meat on an all grass diet.

The lambs are raised without the use of antibiotics or added hormones. By using rotational grazing, we are able to provide our animals with fresh nutritious grasses and legumes on a daily basis. This high quality diet insures a product that is healthy and tastes great.
